Harvest festival. An abundance of apples.
The most popular event among the ålanders.
Food, fun and fresh farmers produce - this is the Harvest Festival. You may experience life in the countryside during three relaxing days. The Åland Harvest Festival invites to exciting encounters – the consumer meets the producer, the young meets the old, the town-dweller meets the farmer. There will be local products and plenty of adventure for young and old alike.
About 30 farms will invite you to enjoy the abundance
of fresh harvest products, home-made bread and plenty
to explore. Start the festivities with a sight-seeing tour in the countryside, during Friday and Saturday you will meet down-to-earth people in a wonderful environment. At the farms you will find treasures in food and crafts sold by those who hand-made and hand- picked them for you.
Round off the experience and fill your basket with delicacies on the Sunday harvest market at Ålands
Landsbygdscentrum. You will find everything from
apples to sheep skins and wooden craft. Be prepared to get tempted by local delicacies and meals that you can enjoy in the shadow of the old chestnut tree.
Everything at the Åland Harvest Festival is produced in Åland!
