  • A special experience on Enklinge

    Enklinge - A beautiful island with very friendly inhabitants. Last summer in august I showed my father the islands, he was the first time in Åland, I have been there every year since 2004. From Enklinge and Kumlinge my father was espacially impressed. On Enklinge we made a nice experience. We went by bike from the ferry onto the island and met at Enklinge Andelshandel the friendly manager of the shop who just would go home for lunch. But he had still enough time to talk with us about Enklinge and the world. He recommended us to go to Hermes, the open-air museum, because we didn't have a special plan for our time on Enklinge. It was really impressed there and we got a brilliant guide. Later, when we bought an ice at Enklinge Andelshandel, the manager of the shop asked us how it was at Hermes and we told about our very well guided tour through Hermes.

    Enklinge - a very calm island with a beautiful nature and very friendly people. I enjoy it every time visiting Enklinge.
